Where oh where has my little Coleman gone?

Peek-a-boo! Here I am!

Did you think we have been hiding from you?! We are still here...just busy! Daddy has been on vacation this past week so we have been having lots of fun. I am going to be so sad when he goes back to work tomorrow. We have had play dates, lunch dates, pool dates--I am a pretty popular dude! It has been fun showing daddo all the things I do during the week. I think he thought I just played at home all day but we set him straight. My social calendar is booked. I am looking into getting a personal assistant!!

The pool is cool!

After my morning nap today I decided a dip in the pool would be perfect! The part I forgot to tell you though was that I got in with my clothes on and a poopy diaper. Daddy was doing some work in the backyard and while we were checking on him I crawled away and got in the water. Mom and dad had some laughs getting my wet clothes off. They decided to just hose me down and then refill the pool with clean water. Thank goodness! I got to play with the hose so it ended up being double the fun.

Filling the pool

I discovered the hose today and boy what an invention! Water actually comes out of that thing. As you can tell by the video I liked to experiment with drinking out of it. I think I need a little more practice though...I haven't really figured out that the water keeps coming out weather I am done drinking or not. Sorry mom had to cut the video short...I think she thought I may be in danger. Silly mommy, doesn't she know that's just how boys are? Fearless!!

My first birthday present!

Mommy let me open my first birthday present this week. My Auntie Courtney (mommy's best friend) sent me a monkey rug for my monkey birthday party next week. I loved opening the package, I started breathing really hard and even making some monkey sounds when I got it open. I truly am a monkey man!! My party is going to be so fun--thanks Auntie C. for sending the perfect decoration!!

Daddo and Gymboree!

During dad's vacation we met my playgroup at Gymboree again. We had so much, he got to meet my friends and play with all the fun instruments and equipment. He was pretty tired after the whole thing! I don't think he had ever seen that many babies in one spot (ha! ha!). Afterwards we went and had smoothies (my first one!) and then took great afternoon naps. I never want dad to go back to work!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Dad's Day to everyone! We had a relaxing day of swimming and BBQing in the 107 degree weather!! Thanks daddo for being the best there is. Love you!

The Shower

11 Months Old--(a couple weeks late!)

One more month to go before I am the big O-N-E!
Here are the new things I can do:
*I am really in to my toys--I could play all day long!
*Books are fun too--I love being read to.
*I am perfecting the crawl, I am actually too good at it. Will I ever walk?
*I am really into snuggling and giving loves.
*When the doorbell rings I crawl to the door. I love having visitors come over.
*I love pointing at everything. Strangers think I am pretty funny and I really can put on a show for them.
*Talking is my favorite thing. I jibber-jabber to mom all day long. She thinks I have some great stories!
*I play tug-of-war with George and Luci. I get their toys out of their box and bop them on the head until they grab it. What did they ever do without me?

The Splash Park

We went to the splash park this week but it wasn't my fave. I liked watching the water squirt up from the ground and fall from buckets, but I didn't really like to leave mama's side. Maybe next year will be better when I can walk and push everyone out of my way!!

This is my sad face...why do you keep making me try to like this place? Can we just go back to the pool please?

This is kind of fun but please don't put me down again!

The Flip Flop

I am officially a big kid now...I can wear flip flops! Well kind of, the whole thing turned out to be more of just a "flop". I couldn't really crawl in them and then I just got frustrated so mom ended up taking them off. It made a cute picture though!

Cathing up on my emails...

I had some work to do in my office (or playroom) this morning. Just thought I would get out some early morning emails in my PJ's! Daddy gave me one of his old lap tops since I love playing with the keyboard so much. This has been the best present yet!

My first babysitter!

Mommy and Daddy had a wedding to go to this past weekend so I got to stay with my first babysitter! Her name is Katherine and she is soooo nice. We played and had dinner together and she even did bath and bedtime with me too. This was a big deal because I have never stayed with anyone but my Grandmas and Grandpas before. I liked Katherine so much though that mommy and daddy said I could play with her again. So Fun!

What did I ever eat before meatballs (or hotdogs)?! I can't get enough of them! I sure do love leaving a trail of marana all over for mom to clean up too.
