Take a beautiful weekend + winter colds are all gone (we have a been a little sick the past week) = a family hike and picnic up the Catalina Mountains! Just a fun way to spend a Sunday morning.
While Grammie was in town we were able to visit one of our favorite places. Build-A-Bear. I mean seriously? Who doesn't love this place?
Sis picked out a pink teddy and named her, Pinky (um, obviously) and I picked out a blue snowflake bear and named him, House. My reason? Not sure. Just trying to break out of my usual "noun" names I guess. In the past a dog was named, dog. A cat, cat and so on. Hey, it's progress people.
Guess who came to visit us again? Our house was full of visitors this month! Grammie came from Iowa and Rex, the class pet made an appearance at our house too! Almost too much fun for one four year old to handle. Now the house is empty and kind of lonely. Would you like to come hang out with us?
Pick up time.
Cruisin' on the new bike.
Cooking and snuggling. Two of my favorite things. Thanks for all the fun Grammie!
It was six month check-up time at the dentist this month. Guess what though? Instead of sitting by the big, beautiful chairs, I got to be in one too...just like Coleman! I am a big girl now so I am able to do big girl things...just like Coleman. The dentist counted my teeth, cleaned them with the tickle brush and painted fluoride on them...just like Coleman (do you see a pattern here?). I did an awesome job! No one better tell me I am too little...it is my mission in life to prove you doubters wrong. But in a sweet and cute way. :)
The last days of 2011 were action packed...s'mores, Santa, soccer, snow (and apparently only things that start with 'S'), more Santa and Ms. Claus, presents, the big day and lots of precious memories. We hope your 2011 was equally as blessed. Hugs and Kisses to all!
Our elf is back on his shelf and up to all kinds of mischief. He welcomed us on the first day of December with a few trinkets and breakfast. Can't wait to see the new hiding places he finds this year!
Thanksgiving has come and gone! That was fast. Our sweet friends the Teachs came to visit us in Tucson. Their visit was fast and furious but always filled with lots of fun and laughs (and maybe a few melt downs too.) We had a great turkey day. Yummy food. So much to be thankful for.
These were the only pics of their visit. The kiddos running around at sunset waiting for the turkey to be served. I guess that means we had SO much fun right? Too busy to even get the camera out!
