Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope the next year brings you back to the days of the sandbox and milk and cookies. Cheers!

Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas Eve at the Harger House. Daddo came home from work early which was the biggest treat of them all! We went to church and listened to the pretty Christmas music and then came home for the traditional Harger Christmas Eve Fondue. I didn't get to sample too much because I needed to get in bed for Santa but mom and dad said it was yummy! I dreamt of Santa that night and all the presents that would be waiting for me the next day. I couldn't wait for Christmas morning!

One more picture before bath time!

Merry Christmas!

Santa found our house even with out a fireplace to slide down! I was worried about how he was going to get in. We had such a fun Christmas morning opening presents and eating a yummy Christmas brunch. I loved playing with all my new toys and sampling the Christmas goodies. Grammie and Poppy C. came in Christmas evening and surprised me the next morning with more presents. We had Christmas morning all over again! What a fun surprise. I hope everyone had a great holiday with their loved ones. I sure did!

Just waking up...

Trimming the tree

I decorated my first tree this year and I did a great job! I loved the twinkling lights and the shiny ornaments. I even left it alone for one whole day! I just couldn't resist myself on the second day--the ornaments were calling out my name. There are still a few ornaments left on the top (where I can't reach) but it was fun while it lasted. Hey...I have at least left the lights and tree alone since the ornaments have been removed. That is doing a good job right? That's what I thought!

It must run in the family...

I just can't get enough of crates and containers lately! It must be in the family genes...mom and dad seemed to have had the 'bug' when they were my age too.

Coleman plus one...

We're having another baby! Can you believe it? I am going to be a big brother in June, just a couple of weeks from my second birthday. I am so excited--I have already been practicing rocking my stuffed animals and saying "baby" over and over. I hope I am this excited when there is a real baby in the house! From mom: Sorry for the small picture--the scanner and I were not getting along today!

A visit with Santa

Well, things didn't go as smoothly this year like mom thought they would. I loved sitting on Santa's lap last year and even smiled for the picture. This year however I wanted nothing to do with that man! Oh well, once I figure out he is the guy you want to be friends with to get the goods I will quickly change my tune. Merry Christmas!!

Kansas City Thanksgiving

We are back from our holiday adventures! Mom, Dad and I flew "home" as they like to call it but I am not sure why. My home is in Arizona! It was fun visiting Iowa and Kansas City but boy I'll tell you what--cold weather is not my favorite thing! You have to wear so many more clothes and you don't get to go outside very much. I am not sure how I feel about that! I got to play with a lot of fun people and see a lot of fun places though and that made up for it. Here are some pictures of my adventures. We still didn't get to see all the people and places we had planned for--we will have to try again next time! Can't wait to get back and visit again. Happy belated Turkey day. Hope you were all stuffed and happy this past week!

Thanksgiving Day

Iowa Thanksgiving

The first stop on our Thanksgiving extravaganza was Grammie and Poppy C's house in Iowa. We weren't there for very long but we sure crammed in a lot of fun in a short amount of time. I got to play with my cousin Lilly, Uncle AJ and Aunt Dana every night. Lilly is growing so fast! The next time I see her she will be chasing after me. We also headed back to the zoo, I just can't get enough of that place! We were able to spend an afternoon at the Children's Museum too. I loved just spending time with my family the most. I can't wait to get back to see everyone! Miss you already.

Elmo

On Sunday we joined my friends at My Gym and had a playdate with Elmo! What fun that was and I wasn't scared at all. I ran right up to him and said "La-La!!" (that's Coleman code for Elmo). You know the theme song for Elmo's World? "La, la, la, LAA, la, la, la, LAA Elmo's World." We'll instead of just saying Elmo I shortened it and just say "La-La". Anyway, I had a blast playing with Elmo, seeing my friends and jumping on all the equipment. At the end of the day they even had a firetruck for us to play on. So many buttons to push--my idea of a perfect toy!

A visit from Grammie

My Grammie came to visit me this week and we had so much fun! We played outside everyday and I taught her how to shovel rocks and throw a football. We were so sad to see her go today but guess what? We are getting on an airplane next week to visit her and Poppy AND my Nana and Papa Bear. What a treat!

My Great Grandpoo Smith and Auntie Shelly came down from Phoenix to visit us for the day. I had a lot of fun showing them my toys and telling them all kinds of stories. Can't wait until we see each other again!

Getting loves from Auntie Shelly.

Tucson Zoo

This week Grammie, Mom and I joined my playgroup at the Tucson Zoo. I have decided that I just want to live there and be one with the animals. Mom already calls me her monkey man so I think I would fit in nicely. I loved running around and talking to all the animals. My favorite part was feeding the giraffes--look at how long their tongues are!! I kept putting the biscuit all the way in the giraffes mouth and then pulling it back out. The zoo keeper said she had never seen someone so fearless. That's me--Zoo Keeper Coleman, fearless animal trainer!

My big boy bike

Grammie sure knows how to spoil a boy! She bought me my first big boy bike this week. I loved being her helper when she put it together, especially when it came time to using the hammer. I kept running off with it! I can almost push it by myself--I'm getting really good at rocking it back and forth. Give me a couple more days and I will be an expert bike rider. Watch out!!

My new wheels

Mommy said she would never let it happen...too many germs, not enough wipes. Daddy on the other hand must have forgotten the rules because he actually let me take a ride in the car shopping cart!! Now I can't get enough. I even scoot to the middle so I can drive with both steering wheels. So cool. Trips to the grocery store will never be the same. Mom says "thanks so much dad", but she didn't really sound excited when she said it. I wonder why?
