Reunited!

Nolan and I were reunited this week after a LONG break.  We had family and friends visiting over the last two weeks and Nolan went back to Omaha to visit his family.  Things are back to normal now and our usual play dates have resumed.  Thank goodness!  We enjoyed a beautiful day at the park filled with sand, bubbles, slides and snacks.  My kind of day.
Coleman look at mom...
Ok, now we have lost Nolan
What are you two looking at?
No...up here!
This is close enough...a good hug works for me. :)

Morning Chores

I love feeding my puppies each morning.  I give them three scoops a piece--I love to count!  I even like them to eat a few pieces out of my hands sometime.  They are my best friends!

Big shoes to fill...

I love pretending to be like dad when he is away at work.  Being big is so fun!  Oh, and apparently mama turned into a parrot while filming this.  You'll understand by the end...

E-I-E-I-O

Today we visited the miniature horse farm with my playgroup.  We dressed in our finest cowboy attire and helped tend to the animals.  What a day!  We fed the chickens, goats and horses, discovered a tractor and then celebrated Brady and Addison's birthday.  FUN!

This is my best attempt at looking at the camera.  I just can't slow down enough to say cheese lately!
The white horse was my favorite.  I loved putting rock treats in his water bucket.

Chicken love

Here is a little clip of my reaction to the chickens.  I really wasn't excited it about it at all...

Easter

The Easter bunny found our house and even brought some early surprises for sister too!  I loved the egg hunt the most!   When it was all over I just kept saying and signing "more, more"!  We had a yummy breakfast and then off to church we went.  What a beautiful day!

Visiting the Bunny

We made a trip to see the Easter Bunny this weekend and it was a success!  Not one tear--now I wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to do once I sat with him but hey baby steps right?  I haven't been able to stop talking about him since so he must not be too bad.

Bed tester

Just testing out the new crib for my little sis on the way.  Do you like the wall color?  Mom and dad have it narrowed down to two bedding sets.  For those of you that don't know their decision making skills very well they are off to a great start!  We don't make up our minds very fast here in the Harger house.  Keep you posted on the decision....
The bedding in the bottom corner is from the previous guest room--NOT one of the choices.  CLASH!

Our little reader

Is there anything more precious than a child reading a book?

Worker Bee

Mom and Daddo were able to get a few more helpers this week as we started to get the new baby room ready.  Grammie and Poppie came down for a visit and offered their painting services.  Isn't that so nice?  I decided to be a helper too--don't worry though we only used the "kid safe" paint that won't hurt my lungs.  Mom says I am too special to take any chances!
Getting the walls primed for the new color.

More pictures to come...

Time for fun

It wasn't all work and no play during Grammie and Poppie's visit.  We were able to squeeze in a few hikes, trips to the park and baking delicious yummies.  I love showing off my favorite activities to special visitors!
Investigating a very spiky thistle with Poppie.
Throwing rocks with Grammie.
Tasting Grammie's famous "no bake" cookies.  A Coleman family favorite and my new one too!

One of those days...

Mom and I were having one of those days where our clothes didn't match, we didn't get a lot accomplished and we were missing our Daddo so we made a trip to McDonald's.  A happy meal always makes the day better.  Don't tell but apparently moms get tired too!  A cheeseburger+fries+nap=happy family!
I love sharing "nilla shakees"

Burger and fries--Yummo!
