The Day

What a wonderful, fun-filled day. Santa found us. He spoiled us. We are loved. Hope you were spoiled and loved too. Hugs.

Eve

Oh don't you just the magic of Christmas Eve?! We opened two presents before we went to bed. One a new ornament to put on the tree, the other new PJ's to wear to bed. What a great night--church, fondue, presents and cookies. Magical.

Gingerbread

Buddy our elf left us a gingerbread house to put together the other day. Overall I give it a 9 out of 10 for a fun level! Only one meltdown--that is pretty good in our house. The best part? Sampling the candy and frosting of course. Yumm-o!
Mixing the frosting
Construction done!
Campbell a little distracted--needed to go for a little stroll outside I guess.
She's back to help decorate or sample the goods. Take your pick.

Project complete--all decorating done by the 3 and under crowd.

Santa Love

Saturday night the big man came to a Christmas party we were at. Oh boy was I excited...sisters on the other hand, well let's just say she was happier on the sidelines. I told Santa everything I wanted then he gave us candy canes and light up bracelets. What a treat! Less than a week until the big day! Have you been good?
Sisters checking things out...not quite sure
Oh boy
We'll try again next year

PJ Day

It finally rained and cooled things off! So we took advantage of this weather and stayed in our PJ's all day. Add a little movie called The Polar Express and some popcorn and there you have it--a perfect day. Cheers!

The Paint

What do you do when it is 85 degrees in December? You do a little finger painting outside in your undies! Want to come over?

Liking it better with brushes

Campbell--can't get messy enough

Coleman--not a drop on him...hmm

80 Degrees and Snowing

We took our annual trip to the mall to watch it snow. This year it has been unseasonably warm--it was actually 82 degrees on the day we watched the snow. We tried to dress warm to make it feel more like winter but by the end we were taking vests and scarfs off because it was just too darn hot! Watching the snow was still SO much fun. Catching snow flakes with our hands and in our mouth was such a treat. Sometimes I wish it snowed here just a few days out of the year!
(for those of you that don't know--snow machines are brought in, aka bubbles, to make it snow for 15 minutes. A true delight in a snow free town. :) )

Campbell not too sure about what is coming down from the sky
I spy the first snowflake!

Tastes kind of funny

Game Over

Last weekend I played in my last soccer game of the season. The best part? Cupcakes and trophies at the end. I (along with most of my teammates) kept coming to the side and asking "Are we done yet?". That about sums up our season. :) It was great fun though and I can't wait to see what sport I try out next!
Getting ready to kick off.
Getting my trophy and cupcake from the coaches (or dad)
Best part of the day
Love my trophy!

Buddy

The Elf on the shelf has arrived...good behavior had by all around the house.
Oh and Santa came a little early for mom and dad...delivered a new camera. Isn't is delightful?

Sneak Peak

We were walking through the mall last week and there was the big man with NO line and all alone. He called out to me and told me to come sit on his lap. So I ran over as quick as I could and jumped up on up. Oh he was so nice! He asked me what I wanted for Christmas and we had a nice long chat. After that he gave me a coloring book and I was on my way. What a great unplanned treat!

Fondue Fun

To celebrate mom and dad's seven year anniversary we made fondue! The best part? Coleman and I got to take part in dipping too! The cheese was my favorite, Coleman just liked the bread and veggies. To each their own. Cheers!
