Game Day

Saturday was my first soccer game! There was running, there were making goals on the wrong side, there were tears, there were snacks, there were laughs by the parents. The list could go on and on. Action packed I tell you. I had a lot of fun until someone took the ball away from me. Umm...Rude! I made a goal too but I cried again because the other team ALMOST took it away from me. There were a lot of life lessons learned on Saturday. I have a feeling we will be talking about all these things at practice this week. Despite all the tears I still had a lot of fun and was ready for another game after lunch and a nap. Oh how sleep and a full tummy can change the tune of things.
On the way to the game. Number three--my age AND my soccer number. Cool!
Guess who was playing over on the next field? My best bud Nolan!

So cute

Story Time

Now that it is cooling off we were able to go to story time outside last week! We listened to stories about bunnies, sang songs and watched a puppet show. Fun!

Finally...fall is almost here!

We were able to wear jeans last weekend to a birthday party. Hooray!

Ahhh...cool air.

The First Practice

Here are a few pics from the first practice. No tears. Everyone shared. Happy campers. Success! Now let's see how the game goes...

Soccer gear. Check.

It is soccer time here in Tucson and boy am I READY!! We went to Dick's to load up on socks, shin guards, shoes and a new ball. I don't know who was more excited, me or Dad.
Every soccer player has to have the Adidas flops right?
Perfect fit!
My first soccer shoes
Campbell the monkey climbed up this cart and dove head first in to the balls. I think someone else is ready for soccer too.
Dad so excited for me!
Trying out the new gear to make sure it all works before my first practice
Nice form
Yes, that is Campbell with a bag of chips almost the same size she is

I'm ready!

Art in the Park

Last week we met up with our friends and had an art lesson in the park. We talked about colors, landscape and texture. I loved painting the Arizona sky. The sun was my favorite. Here are some pics from the day.
Using a parachute to help us locate the sky, the mountains and then the ground.

Frozen Yogurt

Our new favorite afternoon snack is a little frozen yogurt from Orange Leaf. We get to fill up our own cups and pick our favorite toppings. Yum! I love chocolate-vanilla twist with M&M's on top.

Big girl!
