Randoms

A note from mom: Sorry for the delay in blog updates this week! It has been a little hectic with Halloween preparations. Looking forward to a costume party tonight and a little trick or treating with Nolan and baby Jack. Will post pictures of the festivities soon! Until then here are a few random pictures from the week. Halloween Hugs to all!

The roll over

It's been a big week for me! I rolled over from my back to my belly (I really wanted to play with Coleman's cars) and my bottom tooth popped through. The second bottom tooth is on its way, mom says it will be any day now! I am growing up so fast!
Starting...
Almost there...
and the flip happens.
I figured out what to do with that arm!
Rolled over one more time and BINGO! That's what I wanted.
Wait...this floor is kind of hard and cold. How do I get back?

Pumpkin Patch

Last Sunday we made our annual trip (we have only gone twice since I am two and all but give us time!) to Buckelew Farms to pick out the perfect pumpkin. I loved riding the tractor out to the field to find my pumpkin! I found all kinds of rotten ones and got distracted with the dirt every once in awhile but then I finally found the "one". I picked one out for Campbell and mom and dad found one for them too. A little lunch, some kettle corn and a trip through the petting zoo completed our adventure. Aaahh Tucson fall--wind, dirt and sweat. There is nothing like it!!
This is the one...
Wanted you to get a close up so I threw it in the air.
Dirt--love it!
This one was nice to rest on.
Taking a break for lunch.

And on to the animals! The best part!
I REALLY wanted this chicken to eat my food.

TRAK

Playgroup visited TRAK (therapeutic ranch for animals and kids) today. TRAK is a great place that helps kids and adults in our community. The animals get to visit places like assisted living homes, senior centers and the Ronald McDonald house. Today we were invited to play with the animals while they were taking a break from their visits. What a treat! Take a look at my new friends...
Archie the goat
Bailey the miniature horse
My fave--the CHICKENS!
Campbell loving the chickens too!
Rudy the rabbit
Just call me the chicken whisperer.

This is Lilly...whoa that is a BIG pig.

Four Months

Happy Birthday to me! Wow, where has the time gone?! As you can tell I still have crazy hair but I am as happy as can be. I love talking, squealing and laughing, especially at my brother. I am rolling over from my belly to my back and almost able to roll right back to my belly. I am just not sure what to do with my arm yet! I am also working on my first tooth, chew, chew, chew, drool, drool, drool. I have a pretty big bump on my bottom gum--maybe by 5 months I will be able to report a breakthrough. Mom has been calling me scooter lately too--she puts me down in one place and comes back to find me in another. Am I on track to be busy like my brother? Hmmm...we'll see!

Certified Tester

You knew I had to try it! Just want to make sure all these baby toys are safe for my sister. Just call me George (Curious George that is).

Rolly Polly

So I have decided that tummy time is kind of boring. I choose to roll over on my back during this time--it is way more fun! I can almost roll from my back to tummy if that silly arm just wouldn't get in my way. I'll keep working on it though. Keep you posted!

Makutu's Island

We took a road trip to Phoenix this week to visit an indoor play gym called Makutu's Island. What a fun place! It was like playing in the rainforest only this rainforest was full of slides, climbing ropes, tunnels and zip lines. This monkey man was in heaven! Campbell had fun too, she did the slides with mom. I like to call her the monkey in training!

Even with all the fun things to do in the rainforest leave it to me to find a ball and a game to play!

Firetruck Fun

The firemen visited story time today at the library. They read us fire station stories and then let us explore their firetruck! I had a great time sitting in the seats, driving the truck and wearing their headphones. What a great day!

Adam and I discussing the firetruck.

We're ready

We are ready for fall! Halloween jammies--check! Costumes--check! Pumpkins--check! Candy? Coming soon!

Visitors!

We've had some extra special house guests this past week! Grammie (or Grandma, Gram) and Papa (or Poppy...I am still experimenting with names!) played with Campbell and I all week long. We had a great time being outside, going to the park, apple picking, hikes and most of all PLAYING all day. Thanks for all the fun and come back soon! Hugs and Kisses.

Hiking

The nice weather inspired us to take Grammie and Papa out for a hike over the weekend. How fun! We saw beetles, lizards and a TURTLE! What a treasure. I tried to feed him a rock and we became best friends.
