First Swim

It is H-O-T here and the only way to be outside is to be in the water!  So we headed over to the Himes' for an afternoon dip.  I needed to break in my new swimsuit so I even got in the water for awhile.  I loved every minute of it and just floated from person to person.  When can we go again?

Red Wobster (Lobster)

A new Red Lobster opened up by our house this past weekend so we thought we would give it a try.  I loved looking at the wobsters!  The hostess was even nice enough to get one out for me to touch.  What a treat!

The new washer and dryer

Mama finally got her new washer and dryer last week!  Hip! Hip! Hooray!  We have been wishing for these for awhile now.  I have been a great helper and I love watching the loads through the windows.  Mom says if I could just fold now...

Pizza, Pizza!

Nolan and Sara came over for a play date today and we made mini pizzas for lunch.  I picked cheese and black olives for my toppings...YUMMY!

It's Gymboree Time!

Today was Campbell's first trip to Gymboree.  She made some new friends and I got to be a monkey for an few hours!

Taking the bottle

Mama Sara stopped by today so we thought we would try a bottle.  I did pretty well!  It took awhile to figure out not to drink too fast (had a few gagging faces and spit up) but then I got the hang of it.  Mama is hoping I like the bottle better than Coleman.  He said "no thank you" right away to that bottle and never looked back.  We'll see how it goes!

It's that time of year again...

It's monsoon time here in the desert!  We are welcoming the rain and cloud covered skies that have been coming our way.  There haven't been too many storms yet but the ones that have come through have been great.  I love the whiteling (lightning) and always ask "where is it?" after it goes away.  Maybe storm chasing is in my future.

One month old

I am now one month old!  I am getting bigger and stronger everyday.  I still love to cuddle and watch my big brother play and run all over the house.  I can't wait until I can keep up!

My Gym

I'm officially two!  On Sunday I celebrated with my friends at My Gym.  We had a great party at the gym and the best part?  I got to run around and be a monkey man all morning long.  Birthdays are the best!

International Wildlife Museum

Today we visited the Wildlife Museum with some friends from playgroup to celebrate my birthday.  What a treat!  All the animals were stuffed and put on display for us to enjoy.  My favorites were the buffalo and the lion, bear and cat room.  We ended the playdate with cupcakes and Capri Suns--I could get use to this birthday stuff.  HOO--ray!

3 weeks

Can you believe I am three weeks old already?  This baby stuff is a breeze...eat, poop, sleep, repeat.  Hugs and snuggles to all!

Happy 4th!

We had a relaxing day poolside with a picnic at the Himes' house.  Campbell slept most of the time, mom says she will be up for the festivities next year.  I took full advantage of the day though!  Playing with Nolan, practicing my swimming techniques with Dad and then topping it off with some tee-ball practice.  F-U-N!  Hope you had a great day too!
